While Squalicum's victory against Oak Harbor wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Storm never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. Give Squalicum's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Squalicum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 24 goals over those eight games. As for Oak Harbor, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Squalicum will take on rival Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Squalicum's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Lakewood have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Meanwhile, Oak Harbor is set to square off against their familiar foe Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
