Katahdin put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Fort Kent Warriors. Those five runs were actually the fewest the Cougars have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Katahdin's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Fort Kent, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Katahdin will take on Hodgdon at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for Fort Kent, they will square off against Fort Fairfield at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.6 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
