Softball Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Russell County last Tuesday, Valley came back down to earth. The Valley Rams took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beulah Bobcats on Monday. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Beulah, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Coming up, Valley will head out on the road to take on Elmore County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Elmore County has won three straight at home, while Valley won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Beulah, they will take on Glenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Glenwood their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
