Morgan is a perfect 10-0 against Ben Lomond since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trojans will square off against the Scots at 3:30 p.m. Morgan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Morgan and Ogden, and Morgan kept the tradition alive. The Trojans blew past the Tigers 12-2 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won four contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Kaiya Peterson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Hardman, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Morgan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ogden only posted an OBP of .304.

Meanwhile, Ben Lomond fell victim to South Summit and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 21-0 to the Wildcats. The defeat continues a trend for the Scots in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Morgan's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Ben Lomond, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Morgan has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .493. However, it's not like Ben Lomond struggles in that department as they've averaged .565. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Morgan took their win against Ben Lomond in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 16-1 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Scots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
