Central entered their tilt with North on Friday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They claimed a resounding 70-42 victory over the North Mustangs. Given the Bobcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Mustangs are ranked 138th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Central's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.3 points per game. As for North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will face off against Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Central is facing Chaparral at the right time seeing as Chaparral is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for North, they will take on Metro Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
