Football Recap: Daryl Goring and Wade Antoine Pace Glades Central Defense + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Glades Central can now relate to. They fell 14-7 to the Lakewood Spartans on Friday. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Glades Central didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Daryl Goring and Wade Antoine. Goring is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Khalan Davis produced another solid performance rushing for 117 yards and one TD for Lakewood.

Glades Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Lakewood, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Glades Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lakewood, they will head out on the road to take on Cardinal Mooney at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Cougars have now posted at least 31 points in their last ten contests.
