Baseball Recap: Everman Drops Season-High Score on Venus

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Everman). Everything went their way against Venus on Saturday as they made off with a 16-3 win. Considering Everman has won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Everman moved to 12-10 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Venus, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everman will face off against Cleburne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.5, the Yellowjackets 2.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Venus, they will challenge Alvarado at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
