Ridge extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from C.J. Griffith. The Red Devil put the hurt on the Hunterdon Central Red Devils with a sharp 28-7 victory on Friday with plenty of help from Griffith, who rushed for 121 yards and one touchdown. He is becoming a predictor of Ridge's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

Ridge didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Christian Dulyn and Stephen Coffey.

Ridge's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hunterdon Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge will host North Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devil will be up against the North Brunswick Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.14 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Hunterdon Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Old Bridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights' defense has only allowed 6.9 points per game this season, so the Red Devils' offense will have their work cut out for them.
