Volleyball Recap: Norah Cook and Bella Green Secure Win for Turlock

Turlock extended their road winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Audrey Mensonides. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against the Enochs Eagles on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win thanks in part to Mensonides, who had 26 digs and nine aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

Turlock was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-10.

Turlock was led to victory by Bella Green and Norah Cook. Green had 28 assists and two aces, while Cook had four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Green has posted over her last two matchups.

Turlock's victory bumped their record up to 22-9. As for Enochs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Turlock is set to square off against their familiar foe Pitman at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Enochs will take on rival Modesto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
