Basketball Recap: Sale Creek Comes Up Short

If Sale Creek was feeling good fresh off their 78-26 takedown of Lookout Valley last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sale Creek Panthers lost 82-57 to the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles on Thursday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mark Hetrick, who posted 18 points. The dominant performance gave Hetrick a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Williams, who had 17 points.

Sale Creek's loss dropped their record down to 13-18. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, their win bumped their record up to 14-15.

As of now, neither Sale Creek nor Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts have any future games scheduled.
