Softball Recap: Cole Takes a Loss

Cole lost against Marion back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 13-6. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zoe Foy made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-3. Heidi Ingram was another key player, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Cole's loss dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Marion, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4-3.

Coincidentally, Cole and Marion will both be playing Poteet the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Aggies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
