Soccer Recap: McAllen Memorial Takes a Loss

If McAllen Memorial was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Alice two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The McAllen Memorial Mustangs fell just short of the Sharyland Rattlers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Rattlers recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

McAllen Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sharyland, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North the next time they take the pitch. McAllen Memorial will head out to face Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th, while Sharyland will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 11th.
