Why it's big: Bergen Catholic wants to extend its stay in the Xcellent 25 but will probably need to hold off state-ranked St. Peter's Prep to do it. BC catapulted into the national polls after an impressive 37-7 win over American Heritage (Delray Beach, Fla.) last week. Senior Jarrett Guarantano -- 247Sports' top-rated dual-threat quarterback -- had one rushing and one passing touchdown.

St. Peter's is trying to extend a three-game winning streak against Bergen Catholic, which includes a 31-14 win over the Crusaders in last season's state semifinals. SPP opened the 2015 campaign with a 28-14 win over Avalon (Gaithersburg, Md.) last week. Johnathan Lewis, the Marauders' three-star rated junior quarterback, led the way with more than 250 total yards and two touchdowns.

Names to watch: Along with the Tennessee-committed Guarantano, Bergen Catholic has at least five seniors with FBS-level scholarship offers. The group also includes uncommitted senior tight end Korab Idrizi. He led the Crusaders with five receptions for 67 yards against American Heritage.

In addition to Lewis, SPP's junior class features four-star lineman Benjamin Petrula. The 6-foot-6, 320-pounder is the eighth-rated offensive guard prospect in the Class of 2017 by 247Sports.
