Volleyball Recap: Lexington Has No Trouble Against Medford

The Lexington Minutemen made easy work of the Medford Mustangs on Friday and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Minutemen.

Lexington not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Medford between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-16.

Jake Siegel was the offensive standout of the match as he had 20 assists. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last nine games he's played.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Medford, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.

Looking ahead, Lexington will welcome Weymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Minutemen surely won't give up without a fight. Medford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
