Cline Came Up Big in Magnolia's 13-9 Defeat
While Magnolia might've come up empty on Friday, Derricks Cline wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Cline was still balling out as he picked up 92 receiving yards and a touchdown. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 60 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Magnolia and nudges their season record down to 1-8. Cline and Magnolia will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Saddleback at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Emiliano Ramirez Turns in Season-Best Effort
Magnolia came up short on Friday despite Emiliano Ramirez delivering his best game to date. Ramirez threw for 157 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made five total tackles.

Jake Dorsi Puts an End to Savanna's Losing Streak on Friday
Savanna's seven-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jake Dorsi. Dorsi was dynamite on Friday, rushing for 131 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.
Century's probably not too fond of Dorsi given he always seems to get the better of them. Dorsi rushed for 87 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Centurions duked it out back in October of 2023.
