Softball Recap: Buffalo Island Central Starts Season with Win on the Road

Buffalo Island Central had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Jonesboro Hurricane 21-12. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 13-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buffalo Island Central will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Marked Tree at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jonesboro, they will square off against Cross County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
