Volleyball Game Preview: Bridgeport Bulldogs vs. Leetonia Bears

The Bridgeport Bulldogs are taking a road trip to square off against the Leetonia Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bridgeport came up short against Buckeye Local on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-9, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Leetonia didn't have quite enough to beat McKinley on Monday and fell 3-2. While the Bears didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 25-19 in the first set.

Leetonia actually scored more points across those five sets (104-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-20, 13-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Bridgeport will have to contain Payton Gray as she made an impact in Leetonia's last game. She had ten digs and eight aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Williams, who had 14 digs and three aces.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Leetonia, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-18.
