Volleyball Game Preview: Castle View Sabercats vs. Legend Titans

Castle View is 0-4 against Legend since April of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. Castle View will challenge Legend at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Castle View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Mountain Vista, who was ranked third at the time (Castle View was ranked seventh). Castle View lost 3-0 to Mountain Vista on Thursday.

While Castle View ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Legend came up short against Overland on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Legend might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Overland: every set was decided by exactly three points. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22.

Castle View's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Legend, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Castle View might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Legend in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Castle View avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
