Baseball Recap: Fort Lupton Bluedevils vs. Jefferson Saints

Fort Lupton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 18-11 to the Jefferson Saints. Even though they lost, Fort Lupton's still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Jesse Ceretto put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Ceretto was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring five runs and stealing two bases while going 5-for-5.

In other batting news, Javier Ortiz made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Josiah Gonzales was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
