Volleyball Recap: Carti Foran's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lauralton Hall over Stratford

Lauralton Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stratford Red Devils. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 19-25, 25-9, 25-11.

Several Crusaders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Carti Foran, who had nine assists and three aces. Briana Ukehaxhaj was another key player, getting six digs and two aces.

Lauralton Hall's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Stratford, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Lauralton Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Griswold on the 15th. As for Stratford, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Harding on the 13th.
