Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Henry County). They blew past the Haywood Tomcats 9-0 on Saturday. It was an even better day for Jacob Davis as he scored five goals for his team.

The win was the third in a row for Henry County, bringing their record up to 8-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three contests. As for Haywood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6-1.

Looking ahead, Henry County will venture away from home to take on Northwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Haywood, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-4 win against Ripley on the 12th.
