Baseball Recap: Rouse Takes a Loss

Rouse has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.26 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They fell 11-7 to the Liberty Hill Panthers. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Rouse's loss dropped their record down to 12-5-2. As for Liberty Hill, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Rouse and Liberty Hill should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Rouse will challenge Hays at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 207 places (38 vs. 245). Rouse will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Similarly, Liberty Hill (ranked 134th) will meet Lockhart (ranked 706th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
