Softball Recap: Wayne Makes It 12 in a Row on the Road

Wayne never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Mount Ayr Raiders with a sharp 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mount Ayr, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
