Baseball Recap: Jesuit Takes a Loss

Jesuit has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.75 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against the Tualatin Timberwolves, falling 11-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Crusaders were not able to get on the board.

Jesuit's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Tualatin, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jesuit will face off against Mountainside at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders are facing the Mavericks at the right time seeing as the Mavericks are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Tualatin, they will square off against Lakeridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Timberwolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
