Baseball Recap: Bald Knob Comes Up Short

Bald Knob was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Des Arc Eagles, falling 13-3. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 14-6 to the Eagles when the teams met back in March of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Bald Knob saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dakota Shoebottom, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Bald Knob now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Des Arc, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bald Knob will take on Newport at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Des Arc, they will venture away from home to square off against McCrory at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
