Volleyball Game Preview: Glenn Grizzlies vs. Hays Hawks

The Glenn Grizzlies are taking a road trip to square off against the Hays Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Glenn lost 3-0 to Cedar Park on Friday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-21, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Hays was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Rouse, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-15.

Glenn will have to contain Ayla Matias as she made an impact in Hays' last game. She had nine digs and one assist. Grace Mudd also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 13-19. As for Hays, their loss dropped their record down to 15-18.

Glenn was able to grind out a solid victory over Hays when the teams last played back in August, winning 2-0. Will the Grizzlies repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
