Gilmer posted their biggest victory since December 10, 2024 on Friday. They blew past the Adairsville Tigers 50-23. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 40-33 defeat.

Gilmer has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Adairsville, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-11.

Gilmer and Murphy will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Adairsville, they will head out on the road to take on Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Adairsville surely won't give up without a fight.
