Sabinal hasn't had much luck against Charlotte recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Sabinal Yellowjackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Charlotte Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Sabinal will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Sabinal is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Knippa on Monday as Sabinal made off with a 22-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Yellowjackets in their matchups with the Crushers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Charlotte waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted against the Bulldogs since April 22, 2019.

Charlotte's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Sabinal, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
