Panguitch is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Merit Preparatory Academy a 30-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Bobcats, who have now won nine matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, Tintic got the win against Pinnacle on Friday by a conclusive 16-3. The Miners haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Braylon Jones, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in August. Kelan Bigler was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.

Tintic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

Panguitch's record is now 20-3. As for Tintic, their record now sits at 7-10.
