Sutton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with  a   57-49  win over the Tri County Trojans. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Trojans, too.
 Despite the  defeat, Tri County saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Macey Gronemeyer  went 7 of 12  en route to 19  points. The dominant performance gave  Gronemeyer a new career-high in points.  Isabelle Peters was another key player,  putting up 12  points and four  steals.
Sutton's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Tri County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
 Sutton will challenge Milford at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Milford will roll in looking for their  12th straight  win, something Sutton surely won't give up without a fight. Tri County has  already played their next  contest (against Sandy Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
