Volleyball Recap: Brunswick Comes Up Short

Brunswick lost against Effingham County back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 2-1. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Ashley Adair paced Brunswick's offense, picking up ten kills. Adair got some help from Kate Small and her 24 assists.

Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 30-13. As for Effingham County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-19 record this season.

Brunswick has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Evans on the 11th. As for Effingham County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Glynn Academy on the 11th.
