Basketball Recap: Gurkaran Khehra's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Leland over Pioneer

Leland lost against Pioneer back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Leland Chargers took a 66-50 bruising from the Pioneer Mustangs.

Leland lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Gurkaran Khehra, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Steven Watson, who had eight points.

Leland now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Pioneer, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Leland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 70-37 win against Overfelt on the 16th. Pioneer has also already played their next game, a 41-38 loss against Gunn on the 17th.
