Hamilton won against Fairfield last Friday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Hamilton Big Blue simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Middletown Middies 42-7 at home. That 35 point margin sets a new team best for the Big Blue this season.

Gracen Goldsmith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 203 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run. Wyman Carr got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Hamilton's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 3.5 sacks. Trey Verdon was especially locked on to Middletown's QB and sacked him twice. Hamilton got some further help from Chris Bryant: he picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 11 total tackles (2.5 for loss).
