Soccer Recap: Alexander Central Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Alexander Central and Page squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Alexander Central had to settle for second. They lost 6-0 to the Pirates. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Alexander Central it sure didn't stay that way.

Alexander Central's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6-4. As for Page, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Alexander Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Page, they will head out to challenge Myers Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Page's defense better be ready for this one: Myers Park have averaged an impressive 4.4 goals per game this season.
