Soccer Recap: Harlandale Takes a Loss

Harlandale lost against Southwest back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Harlandale Indians lost 4-0 to the Southwest Dragons. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Dragons are ranked 214th).

This is the second loss in a row for Harlandale and nudges their season record down to 14-12. As for Southwest, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Harlandale will host Jay at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest, they will head out to take on Winn at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest is facing Winn at the right time seeing as Winn is stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
