Ankeny Centennial had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Oskaloosa Indians. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Kenlie Erickson and Adi Reyes, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Maegan Cheeseman and her nine assists. Tatem Schmidt and Kaelyn Rinehart kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Ankeny Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Oskaloosa, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Ankeny Centennial has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against North Polk on the 13th. As for Oskaloosa, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pella at 5:30 p.m.
