Midway had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the St. Pauls Bulldogs 7-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-0 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Peyton Hering, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Kiley Ives, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Midway hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as St. Pauls struck out 13 times.

Midway pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. As for St. Pauls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-11.
