Volleyball Recap: Annapolis Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Annapolis was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Old Mill last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Severn Run Wolves on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 20-25, 25-10, 25-12.

Carolin Heyder paced Annapolis' offense, picking up eight kills. Heyder got some help from Meg Ronayne and her 20 assists. Finally, Miyonna Wilkins kept Annapolis' defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Jazlynn Dubose was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and five assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Annapolis now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Severn Run, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Annapolis wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Arundel on the 24th. As for Severn Run, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Broadneck on the 24th.
