Granada kept a clean sheet against Foothill on Thursday. They came out on top against the Foothill Falcons by a score of 2-0. Given the Matadors' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Falcons are ranked 513th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Granada pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five contests. As for Foothill, their record now sits at 5-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granada will take on Monte Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Foothill, they will challenge Northgate at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northgate will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Foothill surely won't give up without a fight.
