Upper Dauphin Area barely beat Greenwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Wildcats on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Trojans have posted against the Wildcats since April 27, 2022.

Colt Bellis was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Jackson, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Upper Dauphin Area lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Upper Dauphin Area's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9. As for Greenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Dauphin Area will venture away from home to face off against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The WolfPack have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.58 runs per game on average), something the Trojans will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Greenwood, they will face off against East Juniata at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
