Softball Recap: East Central Trojans vs. Rising Sun Shiners

East Central took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Rising Sun, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Shiners 9-7. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Rose Yunger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and two unearned) runs on 12 hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
