Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous seven game, Carl Albert brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their defense stepped up to hand Del City a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. That seven goal margin sets a new team best for Carl Albert this season.

The win got Carl Albert back to even at 5-5-2. As for El Reno, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.

El Reno couldn't quite get it done against Carl Albert in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
