Winner came tearing into Saturday's contest with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Payton Sargent paced Winner's offense, picking up eight kills. Sargent got some help from Gracie Root and her 18 assists. Root was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Winner's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Mobridge-Pollock, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coming up, Winner will venture away from home to take on Parkston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mobridge-Pollock, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cheyenne-Eagle Butte at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th.
