Basketball Recap: Livingston Central Sets Scoring Season-High Against Trigg County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Livingston Central). They claimed a resounding 65-31 win over the Trigg County Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cardinals have posted since January 23, 2024.

Livingston Central's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 8-12. As for Trigg County, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Livingston Central won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Carlisle County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Trigg County, they will host Christian Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
