Baseball Game Preview: Clarkrange Buffaloes vs. Livingston Academy Wildcats

The Clarkrange Buffaloes will square off against the Livingston Academy Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Clarkrange hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Last Tuesday, Clarkrange came up short against Pickett County and fell 6-2.

Clarkrange saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bo Ramsey, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Macon Thompson also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Livingston Academy took on Stone Memorial on Wednesday. The Wildcats took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Clarkrange's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Livingston Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Clarkrange might still be hurting after the 17-0 loss they got from Livingston Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Can the Buffaloes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
