Softball Recap: Brillion Gets the Win

Brillion won the last time they faced Roncalli and things went their way on Monday too. The Lions came out on top against the Jets by a score of 5-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Jocelyn Tamm made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Tamm wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Grace Krueger, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Brillion's record now sits at 18-5. As for Roncalli, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Brillion wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Luxemburg-Casco on the 19th. Roncalli has also already played their next game (against Sturgeon Bay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
