Softball Recap: Stafford Takes a Loss

Stafford lost against Sealy back in April of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stafford Spartans lost 20-3 to the Sealy Tigers. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mya Bowman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-1. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.

Stafford's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1. As for Sealy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stafford will face off against La Marque at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. La Marque is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Sealy, they will square off against Fort Bend Willowridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give Fort Bend Willowridge their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
