Basketball Game Preview: Killian Hill Christian Cougars vs. Victory Baptist Warrior

After both having extra time off, the Killian Hill Christian Cougars and the Victory Baptist Warrior will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Killian Hill Christian has given up an average of 54.5 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Killian Hill Christian came up short against Covington Academy and fell 59-48. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Victory Baptist posted their closest victory since January 9th last Friday. They had just enough and edged out Fideles Christian 65-63. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warrior.

Victory Baptist's win came from a few key players Killian Hill Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ziggy Binitie, who posted 23 points along with five assists and three steals. Myles Lewis-Taggart was another key player, shooting 40% from the field on his way to 21 points.

Killian Hill Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Victory Baptist, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Killian Hill Christian beat Victory Baptist 47-39 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Warrior have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
