Softball Recap: Rosemont Wolverines vs. Argonaut Mustangs

The Rosemont Wolverines came up short against the Argonaut Mustangs on Thursday and fell 9-4.

Talia Adams was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she tossed six innings while giving up just two earned (and seven unearned) runs off eight hits. Adams was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one triple. That triple was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Jalaya Cozart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.

Rosemont's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Argonaut, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.
