Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perrin-Whitt). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Garner Longhorns 63-17. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Pirates with their most commanding win of the season.

Perrin-Whitt's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-13. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points per game. As for Garner, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Perrin-Whitt will face off against Bryson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Garner, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Throckmorton at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
